Description
- Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a widely used technique in molecular biology, in which a single copy of a DNA fragment is amplified, generating thousands of copies of that same DNA sequence. Due to the high number of copies generated during the reaction, it is essential to prevent any possible contamination during the process.
- The PCR+FL Cabinet provides positive-pressure laminar flow combined with UV irradiation
- The work area and work surface are constructed of AISI 304 stainless steel.
- The forced-air flow is filtered through an H14 HEPA absolute filter (99.995% efficiency at MPPS, EN1822 standard) and is delivered to the work area at a speed adjustable between 0.2 and 0.5 m/s.
- The positive pressure prevents any external contaminants from entering the work area.
- The tempered glass on the sides and front provides exceptional visibility of all areas of the work surface and blocks external UV radiation.
- The cabinet is also equipped with a manually sliding tempered glass front panel, which protects personnel from external UV radiation and allows a clear view of the interior.
- The cabinet is equipped with an easy-to-use touch panel.
- UV sterilization system.
- Fluorescent and UV-blocking lighting.
- LCD display, touchscreen.
- UV timer: 1 to 99 minutes. Operating voltage 220 V, 50/60 Hz. Maximum current consumption 1.6 A (approx. 380 W).
- The cabin comes standard with a UV light; 2 IP 55-rated 110-220-volt electrical outlets for 1,000 W each (total 2,000 W).
Optional Accessories:
- Unit support table.
